Fortes Seller’s Minute: The 4 Proofs of a Closer
Most sellers hire on personality. Closers hire on proof. Here’s the fast filter I use with clients so you don’t hand your leverage to a nice conversation. (Sellers say high-res photos, virtual tours, and floor plans are must-have services—ask to see them in the plan.)
Roadmap (do this this week):
Data Proof: “Show me your last 5 listings—DOM vs local median and sale-to-list.”
Process Proof: “Walk me through your launch system and your written Day-7/14 rules.”
Marketing Proof: “Confirm pro photography, floor plan, and virtual/interactive tour are included.” (These drive hiring decisions and buyer attention.)
Outcome Proof: “Provide two recent case studies + one reference I can call today.”
Common Mistake: Hiring the “friend with a license.” FSBOs and under-marketed listings routinely net less than agent-assisted sales—don’t recreate that inside a weak plan.
Home-Selling Tip: Make the agent write your Day-7 adjustment triggers before you sign. Pre-decisions beat emotions. As promised, value in under a minute (ish).
